Dr. Csilla Eiben
senior research fellow
She has been employed in KÁTKI since 1989, and has been a chief research fellow since 2000. She takes part in the maintenance of pure bred populations of New-Zealand White and Californian rabbits. Her present fields of research include alternative feeding methods of young rabbits and investigation of methods for oestrus synchronization in does without hormonal treatment (so called biostimulative methods).
Her former research topics were also related to meat quality, keeping systems and animal welfare.
She is involved in education activity as a visiting lecturer in rabbit feeding at the Szent István University.
