This sheep breed got into the territory of Hungary in the 16th to 17th century, along with the settling of German colonies, and the constancy of breed has endured only here. It is a sheep of low height with white fleece. Head and feet are covered by short, white hair, the length of the fleece is about 20 cm, and it has mixed wool. Ewes are always hornless, a part of the rams wear light, spiral-shaped horns. It has affine bone structure. We are developing a nucleus stock of the breed.
